Welcome!

Michaella Thornton, Writer & Teacher
Photo of Michaella Thornton, Winter 2023.
Ahoy! My name is Michaella Thornton, but all of my friends call me Kella. I'm a lower Midwestern writer who loves exploring language, landscape, and literature.

Love: cannoli, kayaking, stargazing, writing essays and flash prose, and my incredible daughter.

Meh: subpar coffee, people who pronounce Missouri as Missourah, mayonnaise-based coleslaw, hopelessness.

Want to get ahold of me? Please visit the Contact section or email me at: michaella[dot]thornton[at]gmail[dot]com
